My original Prusa i3 MK2 was without a fan grill, and it wasn't long before I regretted that decision - just one touch of the fan would cause problems. But then disaster struck when a small nylon filament string blocked the fan, forcing me to halt production immediately to prevent overheating my hot end sink. Time had come to design a new fan guard for my printer. Its height was a mere 1mm, and it's been installed for three months now without any issues. Print settings are as follows: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1-0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed mine in ABS. Here's how I came up with this design - 123Design.
