30MM Fan Air Filter
thingiverse
This device keeps unwanted particles like hair spray, dust and contaminants from entering your fan. The filter media is bigger than the 30MM fan, allowing for more filtering surface area with minimal air flow restriction even as it becomes clogged. The filter housing slips over a 30MM Fan without requiring tools or screws. You will need to buy a piece of aquarium poly filter material, about 1/4 inch thick or around 4-5MM, available at your local aquarium store. Cut this material into 43MM x 49MM with scissors. The poly element fits snugly into the housing and pulls out easily for cleaning. Simply wash out the dirty filter element in warm soapy water and squeeze it dry before replacing. Note: Look for the UP arrow on the housing. The shorter side of the filter goes at the bottom for maximum printer bed clearance and visibility.
