30mm E3D Bigbox Calibration Cube
thingiverse
Here is my submission for the E3D BIGBOX APRIL DESIGN CONTEST - WIN A BIGBOX 3D PRINTER! I've come up with a few ideas that would be great to test, such as ensuring a snug fit for items like assemblies or magnets. So I thought about using a 10p coin as everyone in the UK would have one handy for this test and it's a standard size. IT ALSO MAKES A GREAT KEYCHAIN! This design also features large and small islands, as well as small overhangs that make up the BigBox logo and the e3d logo. If you print it with a small nozzle, you'll see all the gears and the gaps between them. Print Settings Printer: E3D Big Box Dual Resolution: .11 Infill: Optional Notes: I used a 0.3mm nozzle to print this, but I left infill up to your discretion - I like to use 25% with 4 top and 2 bottom layers, and also 2 walls.
