Inspired by MendelMax2's angled design, a novel mechanical guide uses a standard endstop switch, interference fitting two metal crimps sized at 1/4". Install a 1-inch plastic straw extension in the top section with its metal band loose, ensuring that when the roll turns, cheesecloth coated to catch dust and debris gets in line, removing residue as filament flows. Position this setup near the endstop region where a hole should be cut to expose the switch's flat face for the 1.75mm filament path. Not necessary to create holes on pins for switch integration. Utilize M3 screws for attaching switch parts while an M5 bolt coupled with washer mounts it securely at the rail level.
