.308 7.62x51 Stripper Clips
thingiverse
Item is still in development. Ten round stripper clips are designed for use with .308 Winchester/7.62x51 NATO cartridges. Simply scale the design vertically if you prefer a different capacity. Twenty-five rounds? Double the height, increase by 250%. Twenty rounds? Scale up by 200%. Basic math should suffice. This model is loosely based on J_Schmidt's design for GECO .223 stripper clips. For now, it's listed as Work in Progress with plans to add a loader that utilizes these clips. The question remains whether an open design like J_Schmidt's or a more enclosed one will be used. Print Settings ============= The model is optimized for printing with Esun Pro PLA/PLA+. ABS may need to be upsized due to shrinkage. A 0.5mm nozzle is recommended, along with single-walled (0.5mm) and 0% infill settings. Layer height tests have been conducted at 0.3mm and 0.2mm, revealing no significant differences. Spiralizing or using the vase mode also showed little variation, except for time savings. It's best to test print with a scaling factor of 20% before full-scale production to ensure optimal results.
