3030 t-nut clip
thingiverse
This is a straightforward clip designed to hold t-nuts in place within 3030 extrusion, serving as an assembly aid. Developed specifically for and thoroughly tested on Misumi HFS6-3030 extrusion, the clips are intended to be easily inserted into the required slots either by pressing them into place or sliding them in from one end. They should fit snugly but require only moderate effort to move. I plan to create a 2020 version of this clip in the near future. Update January 25, 2018: Initially, I had attempted to develop a similar aid for use with 2020 extrusion, but its smaller dimensions and tighter tolerances did not work out well. Perhaps a flexible variant could be designed to accommodate these specifications, although I doubt I will pursue this unless I find myself frequently working with 2020 material.
