This basic spool holder utilizes 608zz bearings on press-fit 3D printed shafts, allowing for smooth movement of the filament spool. Designed to mount vertically using M5 bolts and T-nuts on the extrusion. Secure the bottom screw and T-nut first; once secured, drop in the top T-nut, which will be held directly behind its hole by the bottom. Prints require no supports but may need minor finishing for a snug fit of bearings and shafts. *Note: This spool holder works exceptionally well with filament that is not tightly wound on its spool, such as TPU. Avoid using it on spools prone to unwinding themselves, as the bearings will allow this due to insufficient friction.
