prusaprinters

Currently I am building a Voron Swichtwire and according to the BOM you need 12x 3030 Slot 8 M3 T-Nuts. But these are a bit too expensive for me, so I just drew and printed them. The design is inspired by
https://www.dold-mechatronik.de/Nutenstein-schwer-B-Typ-Nut-8-Gewindedurchmesser-waehlbar

The design enables simply to press a normal M3 nut and then very easy push it into the profile to use it.

There is nothing more to say.

I can still make a version with thread and a version with heat inserts on request.

Printed on a Prusa Mini made of ABS:
* Profile: Voron Parts (all fixed to 0.4, 40% Infill Gyroid and 4 Perimeters)

You can certainly print this from PETG, then I would scale the model to 99.5%, then it should also fit.

If anything is unclear, just write me.

Happy Printing

Good to know:

The hole has an 0.2mm full layer to make a little more rigid part. You can see in your slicer at 3mm Layerheight. Instead of creating a hole, the slicer does make a “solid” bridge and this is more rigid as a normal hole print. You can break this hole, by inserting a M3 screw ;)
