3030 Extrusion Pi Camera Mount
thingiverse
I loved the ball joint flexibility of MoonDoggy's pi cam design, but didn't want to attach it to the x-axis. So I modified jltx's hard feet design to attach a ball joint and modified the original camera case to allow the cable to come out from the bottom. This design will fit any printer with 3030 extrusions, and I made it specifically for my Prusa i3 MK3. To install first secure the base and bit to the extrusion tightly as indicated on the hard feet design. You can attach this anywhere you like on the printer's extrusions. Next insert the ball link into the base and twist it slightly; it should be a tight fit, so I had to use pliers. The rest is the same instructions as the cam design. You can reuse the original camera back with the new camera front. I tidied up by hiding the cam ribbon cable under the printer. EDIT 7/9: I increased the size of the Ball Link slightly to improve the fit.
