3030 Extension Foot and Dampener

I required modifications to my Misumi 3030 extrusions to accommodate space for my z-steppers in my Hypercube Evolution build. I also sought to dampen the plastic-to-table interface, prompting me to design a simple foot extension for printing from flexible material (Ninjatek Cheetah for rev1). The foot extension features M3 threads for 8mm M3 bolts, which surprisingly functioned well even at .2mm layers. I used an M3 bolt (10mm in length) to attach the foot to the extension and inserted it straight into the PLA, pulling tight so that the bolt head was recessed far enough into the flexible foot. Edit 9/10/2017: The holes for M3 bolts securing the extension to the frame mostly work, but I plan on reworking them to utilize a knurled brass insert or increase the size to an M4 with modeled-in threads. The larger threads should have a higher success rate even after inserting and removing the bolt once or twice. Edit 9/10/2017: I reduced the hole size to 3.05 to increase the modeled thread surface area. I also increased the counterbore to accommodate a brass knurled insert in case the printed and modeled threads still don't function well more than once or twice. I fixed the nut trap size and increased recesses on parts to minimize the need for infill – perimeters should provide most of the strength.
