I am currently constructing a PRUSA i3 Mk2 clone utilizing 3030 aluminum extrusion sourced from 8020.net and thought it would be exciting to create my own slot covers. I downloaded the CAD drawing of the profile and imported it into CorelDraw, where I drew an outline profile of the slot cover before importing it into Tinkercad. It fit perfectly on the first attempt, so now I am eagerly anticipating printing more once the printer build is complete. If you are interested in building your own printer, visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1692666; it simply snaps into place. If you require longer sections of this item, import it into Tinkercad and stretch it to the desired length. Additionally, I recommend reviewing my 3030 Cable Tie Down posts that snap into position effortlessly. They are easy to slide into place. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843530 Added FINAL. Fits a little looser.
