3018 Pro CNC Z-Axis Spindle Upgrade
thingiverse
This is my first upload, and I'm new to Fusion, please let me know if I need to modify or clarify anything. After 4 uses of my Sainsmart CNC 3018-Pro I had the bearings popping out and the 8mm guide rails popping up as well. I designed these parts to fit over the bearings and tops of the rails to prevent them from shaking lose and falling out. As seen in the photos, you will have to dismantle the Z-axis somewhat to put the parts on, should take less than 30min to do. Unfortuantely, you will lose 2mm on either side (up/down) due to thickness of the print, but it's better than having the project fail when the bearings pop loose and the spindle falls over. Printed with Cura using standard quality, supports turned on because of the two circle cutouts. Infill doesn't matter much since almost none anyways. You will need to print 1 copy of the top piece, and 2 copies of the parts on either side of the spindle holder. Units are in mm.
