This support bearing is specifically designed for lengthy work pieces on the 3018 mills. It relies on a high-performance 608Z skateboard bearing, an M3x8 Hex head bolt, and an M3 T-nut. The bearing is engineered to be a press fit, but you may need to apply adhesive or add an axle shim depending on the shrinkage rate of your PLA/PETG/plastic material. In my case, I used PLA with excellent results. The infill density for this design is set at 25%. It seems robust enough for most applications.
