Here is my alternative way to upgrade the spindle on your 3018 CNC machine. The entire setup was constructed from high-quality aluminum, ensuring durability and strength. Using the 3018 CNC itself, I created all the drill guides needed for making the aluminum piece, which was a relatively straightforward process. This setup does require additional tools and materials compared to the previous method that allows direct milling on the 3018 CNC. However, it offers exceptional sturdiness and durability as a result. Ultimately, you can decide for yourself whether to opt for this setup or stick with the previous one, which was previously showcased as an upgrade option for the 3018 CNC machine. The previous spindle upgrade featured a 52mm or 55mm spindle holder paired with a spindle upgrade, offering a reliable and efficient solution.
