3018 Brace
thingiverse
Update May 17: My apologies for the oversight - I forgot to mention that the side brace channels are specifically designed for use with a 2mm stock steel square, which mates perfectly with the embedded magnets in slide clamps. I recently upgraded my SainSmart Genmitsu CNC Router 3018-PRO, but I was unhappy with the way materials were braced to the table. The current setup caused uneven binding and reduced workspace availability, so I designed a solution that provides a full 300x180x45 mm workspace for cutting, engraving, or laser use. The parts labeled with an x 2/4/8 indicate how many you'll need to print. The STL file including the table will produce a single printed part. To ensure proper assembly, I've included two sets of cross-corner table connections - one set provides both front and rear connections, while the other set is mirrored for easy assembly. The threaded protrusions on these parts fit seamlessly into slide clamps and wingnuts, making it simple to replace them with metal hardware if desired. Unfortunately, my Ender 3 printer isn't equipped to print these longer lengths, so I'll have to wait until I can access a college library's printing facilities.
