This tool is specifically designed for the hyper cube evolution, with a focus on aligning the 220mm rod spacing. Its current appearance may be subpar due to being printed at an unnecessarily high speed (200mm/s solid infill). This excessive rate likely resulted in a poor finish. The middle slot serves as a housing for the coupling if one is used, preventing it from obstructing the tool's path at the bottom. For those who prefer to utilize the 8mm rod, an alternative version has been included. To ensure proper alignment and prevent rod bending, verify that the tool fits smoothly into place on both the top and bottom. Perform a sliding motion up and down to test its functionality. For reference, an example of a well-aligned rod can be seen in the images. Initially, the rod would not slide easily due to inadequate alignment, often becoming stuck at the bottom and bending while attempting to insert it smoothly. To utilize this tool effectively: 1. Lower the Z-axis. 2. Loosen one of the bottom rod holders to allow for lateral movement. 3. Insert the tool from the bottom and gently push it down while sliding it into place. 4. As the tool reaches the desired position, tighten the screw in a downward motion. Alternatively, you can also lower the bed and repeat this process at the top for added stability.
