Hi, It's amusing that such a common product like the caulk dispenser gun still remains somewhat of an enigma to many users worldwide. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and measure it using a thread gauge. Long live reverse engineering! This cap fits standard 300ml caulk cartridges perfectly. To use, simply attach the supplied nozzle tip, then remove it and screw on the 3D printed cap. By doing so, you prevent air from entering the cartridge, which extends its lifespan. I've also included the threaded part in STEP format, allowing you to design your own dispensing tips or modify the existing one. The threaded section has an inner diameter of 13.5mm and an outer diameter of 18mm. Please note that the thread starts on one side only; attempting to screw it from the other side will not work due to a closed thread. Additionally, I've added two male threads for users who want to create their own bottles or containers. One is open, while the other is closed and designed for cutting. Be cautious when working with these threads, as incorrect sizing can cause issues. The design for this project originated from Tank3D Printer, where it's used in conjunction with the heatbed and various other components.
