300 North LaSalle stands as a 60-story mixed-use building, rising from the ground between 2006 and 2009. Situated on the north bank of the Chicago River in the Near North Side community area of Chicago, Illinois, it boasts an impressive 1.3 million square feet (121,770 square meters) of space housing offices, retail shops, restaurants, and public spaces. Three levels of underground parking are also part of this massive structure. Given its prime location on the north bank of the Chicago River, 300 North LaSalle features a half-acre sunlit waterfront public garden offering direct access to the river's edge. The building's structural steel was fabricated and erected by Cives Steel Co. with detailed work handled by Maine Detailers, a division of Cives Steel Co. 300 North LaSalle has earned Platinum certification under the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED for Existing Buildings (EB) category, the highest rating possible. The tower previously received Gold certification under the LEED for Core & Shell (CS) Rating System. This object is part of "Scan The World".
