Human: Designed specifically for the Ripmax 30size trainer, this 30 size sport RC aircraft wing features an aileron and flaps. It also fits the Phoenix Models Sonic 25 with minor modifications due to their near identical wing cross sections. This wing is thinner than the stock wing for either model, with no dihedral to achieve greater speed and aerobatics capabilities. The wing span measures 1336mm, with a NACA 1313 profile. Ailerons/flaps and trailing edge parts must be printed with slots facing upwards to prevent hinge slot filling. Stringers should have 100% infill as they withstand high compression and tension loads. Other parts are not sensitive to print settings and experience minimal stress. The wing is intended for traditional balsa construction, but with plastic replacing structural balsa components. For added strength, spanwise stringers can be replaced with carbon fiber rods (5mm x 5mm) instead of 3D printed and spliced stringers. Remember to select a fuel-resistant plastic type to prevent wing damage from fuel spills.
