The cord of my vintage iPad 2 cable was deteriorating near the 30 pin socket. I printed this cover for it myself. The idea was inspired by another design concept. I initially tried printing the other design, but unfortunately it didn't fit as intended. All that was available were a .stl file and a .dwg file, with no actual object to work from. So I recreated the design using Openscad software. It turned out perfectly. Warning: The original scad code may require some fine-tuning. Instructions Printed in ABS at 0.2mm layer height and 25% three dimensional honeycomb infill
