I created a custom adapter for my E3D V6, utilizing a design from thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:839620) intended for a 40 mm fan. Since I only had a 30 mm fan available, I swiftly designed this adapter to accommodate the smaller fan on a standard 40 mm base. The result is satisfactory; I employed supports due to the overhanging 30 mm mount during design, but they detached cleanly and left behind a useful piece of material. A photo shows the adapter connected to my 2-in-1 fan duct with the 30 mm fan securely in place. This adapter could also be utilized to attach a 40 mm fan to a 30 mm opening.
