The Larson Electronics EPF-SM-30-100-EPP hazardous location fan is a 30" circulation fan designed for use in Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 areas with flammable or explosive vapors, gases or dusts. The non-sparking aluminum fan blades provide increased safety in these environments. With a 30" diameter and generating over 8723 CFM of airflow, this OSHA compliant fan offers efficient spot cooling in hazardous work areas. It features a spark-proof design to minimize the risk of ignition or explosion in hazardous locations, although no fan can be completely explosion proof. The EPF-SM-30-100-EPP comes with a 1/2 HP motor that is thermally protected and maintenance free, and has an ambient temperature rating of 10° to 40°C. It is available in 115V at 9.8 amps or 208-230V at 4.9 amps, and comes with a powder coated steel fan guard for corrosion resistance and durability, as well as a heavy duty galvanized steel pedestal stand for stability. Weighing 68 pounds and spinning at 1,725 RPM, it is equipped with 100' of 16/3 SOOW cable and an explosion proof plug. Cord options include 5-15, 5-20, or 6-20 explosion proof plugs depending on the voltage model.
