.30 cal M1919A4 cradle, the cool type
thingiverse
I designed this in FreeCAD for my ROCKHOBBY 1/6 jeep. I worked from pictures, other scale samples and some line drawings I was able to find. Anyway it's not perfect but looks great when done. You will need either plastic sprue rods or metal to assemble, the size is your choice as after printing you will need to drill out the holes, get the right size tubing them assemble. Make sure you have the gun to test fit before gluing as which ever one you use all the "widths" differ. The images line up the parts, you should be able to assemble without too much trouble. I suggest gluing two rods first, careful to make sure the carriage halves are parallel and let it dry, then do the rest after test fitting the gun. Some sanding will most likely be needed. If you are really good use threaded rod (miniature scale) for the adjustment points and you can tap the handles and it may work like the real thing! (maybe) Have fun!
