3 turn double torus
thingiverse
A double torus featuring three evolute paths was crafted using the Cosmic Geometry Toolkit from LiquidBuddha Studios (available on GitHub). An "evolute," representing a toroidal geometry, traces the surface of a torus based on the number of loops or turns. The toolkit allows creation of a torus with varied height ratios and turn counts. By extruding the path, printable geometry is produced as well. In this particular model, two mirrored 3-turn evolutes form a double torus, adhering to traditional donut dimensions with a height ratio around 0.618 or phi.
