Here is a custom-built, radio-controlled three-wheeled vehicle that looks deceptively simple. Equipped with large ball bearings as front wheels, these bearings are cleverly angled on a low axis for enhanced stability. The ingenious design utilizes 6mm Airsoft balls to create the ball bearings, providing an unexpected yet effective solution. Printed tires made from Innoflex 60 material add flexibility and durability to the vehicle's construction. This flexible plastic is stronger than PLA, ensuring a reliable ride. A high-performance NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv motor drives the vehicle forward, installed directly into the rim for added stability. The short shaft version of this motor provides optimal performance. Steering control is achieved through a lightweight 9 gram servo hobby unit, expertly integrated into its dedicated support structure attached to the aluminum tube. This precise steering system ensures smooth navigation. The vehicle's base and hood were printed without support material, while the motorized fork required support for added structural integrity. Key features of this custom-built vehicle include: • Constructed from PLA and Innoflex 60 materials • Thickness: 0.3 mm • Shell thickness: 1mm • Filling level: 20% • Printing temperature: 220C • Support material: None The sturdy frame is reinforced with two square tubes made of 75x75mm aluminum, measuring 125 mm in length. Powering the vehicle is a high-performance NTM Prop Drive Series 28-26A 1200kv Engine (short shaft version). Steering control is provided by a precision 9 gram servo unit, available at HobbyKing. Energy for the vehicle comes from a reliable Lipo battery with a capacity of 3S 11.1V 1300mA. To enhance traction on various surfaces, a black ring made from bicycle inner tube material is attached to the propulsion tire, providing added grip and stability.
