3-point levelling with magnetic ball bearings for Ultimaker printers involves assembling specific parts and attaching a nut bed, extension arms, and levelling bolts. Begin by removing the existing print bed and screws. Replace or use an acrylic bed and print three parts to match the required measurements. Drill necessary holes with a needle file for seamless bolt passage. Next, remove the front levelling Delrin screw blocks and replace them with extension arms. Attach a spacer panel to the back using a 4.5mm drilled hole and properly aligned fixing holes. Assemble the nut bed beneath this panel, followed by attaching levelling bolts with regular nuts, washers, Nylon nuts, and magnetic balls at each of the three points. Place springs on top of the Nylon nuts, ensuring they fit securely in hex receptacles to prevent rotation. Adjust the nut bed height using washers if necessary. Place magnetic balls on the Nylon nuts and add washers on top. Position the print bed on the washers and secure it with cyanoacrylate glue. Finally, ensure proper Z-stop adjustment and level the print bed for accurate printing.
