Micro Hexacopter === This micro hexacopter features a "Spider" design optimized for FPV. Currently under development, this model will soon emerge as an agile and speedy drone equipped with a camera! Updates: September 2014 Added Naze32 standoffs to the design. September 2014 Transformed the slot layout from twist-fit to press-fit, providing more stability. Motor slots were reconfigured for enhanced usability on diverse motor setups. September 2014 Repositioned the motor slot inward by 3mm to accommodate larger motor mounts measuring 12-18mm. Battery strap holes were integrated into the design. Thanks To: MichaelErwin, who provided valuable input and conducted extensive testing on the hexacopter. Ukarmy04, for developing a quadcopter that served as the primary inspiration behind this project. Instructions How to Print It: Layer height of 0.1mm ensures precision. Utilize one outer shell for construction. Optimize with 20% infill for durability and stability. Use brim (optional) during printing to ensure smoothness. Alternative Printing Settings from MichaelErwin: Michael opted for a higher layer resolution at 0.2mm thickness, requiring the execution of two distinct shells within each other. Optimal printing parameters yield better results, which include: - Infuse structural support using twenty percent fill The combination and application of precise parameters during printing will result in superior output quality, allowing users to enjoy optimal flight capabilities.
