3 Part 3D Flower
thingiverse
I was watching a video about making Pinwheels, and one of the designs he created was a flat flower design. I thought for sure he would make a 3D flower, but it didn't happen. I decided to try my hand at creating one myself using Fusion 360's bend function, which is a really cool feature. I designed my three-part flower and think I did pretty well considering it was my first attempt. However, I struggled to come up with an idea for the center of the flower and got tired of looking at the screen, so I'll have to try again later. I didn't design this project in mind when creating the parts, so they will appear very small. My 150 cubic mm printer is small, so I had to print each part separately. However, I added all the parts to my slicer together and scaled them up to ensure they were proportional. Then, I simply rotated each one off the build plate and saved it. I used lots of brim, 10% infill, and supports in my print settings. I hope you like the result! After watching the video, I realized that I needed to make some edits to my design. The leaves were too thin, so I plan on making them thicker and shorter.
