On February 15, 2014, after several friends requested to print one themselves, I increased tolerance for the lid and canister interface to avoid post-printing cleanup. The new ridge on the lid is smaller while the groove in the canister is larger, ensuring a perfect fit right out of the printer. These updated files are labeled "More Tolerance..." but the original files are also still available. Due to varying printer tolerances, you can also use a new lid with an old canister or vice versa for a partial tolerance adjustment. The pill box is designed for capsules and even fits my Avisae health supplements. The short canister holds 3 capsules while the tall one can hold up to 6. Previous updates on December 13, 2013, improved the lid with wider thumb-grip grooves, which were further enhanced in another update. These improvements ensure a clean and hassle-free fit without any post-printing cleanup. The model is recommended to be printed in ABS for optimum friction fit, while PLA may not work as well.
