I plan to construct a high-powered booster utilizing a 3-engine cluster Estes Pro Series II design, specifically optimized for the use of three ESTES 29mm F15 black power motors. The booster's unique layout channels ignition gases through a flame tube to efficiently ignite its second stage. As part of my ambitious project, I intend to incorporate this powerful booster as the first stage in a 3-stage MAMMOTH model rocket, constructed using an Estes kit. Stage 2 will utilize a single F15 motor within an Estes Pro Series II E2X Booster, while the third and final stage will be powered by another F15. Preliminary calculations suggest this configuration may propel my creation to an impressive altitude of over 2,000 feet; however, I anticipate the possibility that I may require an FAA waiver to operate safely.
