A plexiglass bath, crafted using CNC machining, was utilized at the Montréal Heart Institute for comprehensive mosquito transmitter testing. It measured muscular cell contractions using both electrical and chemical stimuli, fitting within an inverted microscope's xy stage with a 110/160mm cut-out hole. This bath boasts features like temperature control channels, solution pumping capillary channels, and electrode channels. Although we have since developed more sophisticated baths and mounting frames, this particular one remains our pride due to its intricate design and exceptional functionality.
