3 Jaw Lathe Chuck drive gear remix - reinforsment
thingiverse
To securely fasten a fragile drive gear, a small hole must be precisely drilled in the object using a 2.4 mm drill bit. An M3 screw will then be carefully inserted, up to a depth of 15 mm, thereby adding necessary reinforcement to the axis. Since this drive gear is particularly brittle and vulnerable to stress, taking these precautions ensures maximum durability. The object is constructed from a durable type of plastic called ABS. A high-quality FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printer produced the part using the following settings: 100% infill, an incredibly fine layer thickness of just 0.2 mm, and nozzle size set to a precision of 0.35 mm. Furthermore, to ensure precise and smooth production, a reliable slicer such as Cura's most current version is used for cutting out and defining the part's intricate shape and structure.
