3 Inch Pipe (Charlotte) Cap + 5/8 Garden Hose Barb Adapter for Hydroponic Tube System
prusaprinters
I've printed about 10 of these to ensure the amount of tolerances, etc, are a good blend between "exact" and "your printers tolerances". Tube systems for hydroponics are nice and all, but I noticed that the cost of all the fittings for the ends were expensive, AND I was having to invasively cut or drill them out for helping the water reach the next level up, down, or parallel. INSTRUCTIONS: Stick this on to the end of your pipe. Use metal clamp to keep water-tight. Insert garden hose into inset barbed zone. (No supports required). Send hose to another barbed cap like this one. The barbed section is not in the center, and you can rotate it a bit to have your tube system be "more empty" or "for full", depending on how your set is. I may create a v2 with a re-enforced base on the inside of the cap (for the barbed column) but I haven't noticed it be necessary yet. Printing this final version right now, so I'll pictures up soon.
