3 inch inner circle
thingiverse
A unique approach to a standard desk lamp! Crafted with a blend of sleek lines and functional components, this design showcases innovative ideas and techniques. It begins by introducing a circular base made from transparent acrylic, offering an elegant visual representation. Utilizing a 3D printing technology, this desk lamp demonstrates versatility through multiple design options for its inner diameter: a diameter of three inches in inches or 0 millimeters. Another key element is the option to change the diameter's measurement by using a sixteen stud increment of four inches in inches or not using it at all if preferred. All dimensions are given based on measurements taken after conversion to both imperial and metric systems. Instructions for Assembly To begin assembly, one must use the screw and washers that came with this thing to secure the base piece tightly in place on the printed pieces using two 2x12 inch screws per section which will also require an eighth inch socket. First assemble both the printed part with a clear outer rim that surrounds a transparent glass globe attached inside along side it from another transparent layer below so as one does look straight through one and above to the top. This way, you can simply take down the innermost cover for lamp usage but remove it after installation if you plan on hanging them up in a particular position or place to show them off instead. With assembly of both upper and lower sections completed using M4 socket screws with each having an 8/16 mm thread, now insert LED's into socket hole of top unit that contains clear LED strips.
