3 in 1 out Hotend mount
thingiverse
This is a straightforward Hotend mount I designed specifically for the XCR3D 3 in 1 out hotend, modeled after drawings reviewed for the Bigtreetech 3 in 1 out hotend - mounting holes and other dimensions appear identical. The x-axis carriage is based on similar designs found on Thingiverse but was created to shift the hotend 5mm off center towards the left, allowing more room for a purge wall on my printer's left side. I have two files for the print cooling fan: one works with the dial indicator from Harbor Freight for bed leveling and the other does not include those features. I achieve good cooling results at 50% fan speed. This setup is used on a Geeetech A20M but should also work on printers with similar designs. The hotend shown is a switching hotend, requiring two filaments to be parked out of the throat so that the third filament can print. I use Prusaslicer and have included pictures of my configuration, which produces good results. I'm currently using a purge tower because I haven't perfected the tool change script for a purge wall with a switching hotend. This design utilizes the printed circuit board mount for the hotend control board.
