UPDATE:15.12.2018 I've added Version 2 of the Car Rail, a slightly larger version that supports various car types. I've also included 0.3 mm high stripes that can be printed in different colors. Here's an example tutorial: Slice the stripes at 0.1 mm layer height. Save the file to your local hard drive. Open the file with a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++. Hit CTRL+F to open the Find window. Type Z0.600 to find where the stripes layer begins. Before the line with the Z0.600 command, insert the following code: M600 or M601; pause M300; activate beeper M104 S195; set target temperature for nozzle (I print at 195°C, adjust according to your filament) M602; resume SD card print from long pause. Save the file. Load black filament and start printing. At layer height 0.5 mm, the printer will stop and beep. Change to yellow filament. Press Resume Printing. You'll have a multi-color print with black rails and nice yellow stripes. I made the original model printable and changed the bogies, which were extremely detailed. I may make them printable too someday. The design is in several parts: Container train cart, Flat platform cart (top part not ready yet), and Car carrier. The only difference is the top part.
