3" furnace intake grate

After a chipmonk somehow crawled into my furnace through the fresh air intake (then died inside the heat exchanger) I decided to print a grate that would make it more difficult for a repeat situation. The furance technician couldn't believe it when we vacuumed it out of the heat exchanger, and suggested getting a cover for the intake. Printed using EcoTough PLA and tree supports, worked great. The holes on the side are intended for either zip ties or a bolt to clamp it shut around the 3" intake pipe. However, after fitting 2 of these to my own intakes, they snap on really securely and snugly, so YMMV when it comes to bolting or zip'ing them on. Also: PLEASE check your local regulations, and furnace instructions before fitting one of these. I'm not responsible for any damage caused to your HVAC system.
