3 Frame Animation - Basketball Dunk
cults3d
I just got my hands on a brand new dual extruder 3D printer and I'm itching to create something truly unique. I wanted to push the boundaries of what's possible with this technology, so I designed three different frames of animation that would really make the model stand out. Each frame is carefully crafted to fit snugly against the model's walls, creating a seamless visual effect. To bring this vision to life, you'll need a dual extruder 3D printer capable of handling complex prints. I modeled each frame in 3ds max, taking advantage of its powerful tools and features. Once I had my design ready, I used Makerbot Desktop to slice the model into layers that would work perfectly with the dual extruder setup. To achieve the cleanest possible results, make sure to turn on purge walls before printing. This will help eliminate any excess material and ensure a smooth finish for your finished print.
