3 Cubes Flower Planter
thingiverse
I haven't printed this one yet, waiting for more wood PLA and a hardened nozzle to arrive. It's similar to my previous hexagon planter design, but with squares. I moved the corner lugs/feet from the planter to the tray on this one to minimize support needed. The tray fits nicely underneath it with raised corners acting like locking lugs to hold the tray in place if pushed or slid around. If printed, it would be with a Prusa i3 MkII at 0.20mm layer height, using supports only for the planter due to corner overhangs. I prefer 20% cubic infill, but you can use your preferred settings. Just remember, there's a span involved and wet soil is heavier than expected, so avoid thin perimeters and infill. I would print it with 4 layers on top and bottom, and at least 2 perimeters to ensure stability.
