For use with eBay three-channel dog training collars, these have a very narrow band out of the box that doesn't fit anything else. Simply insert this into the original holes to allow for a larger collar. Due to its size, you'll need to go one or two sizes larger on the collar. This product has undergone several revisions; I've added chamfered edges to eliminate sharp edges. However, I recommend softening these with a blowtorch and rounding them off by hand for a smooth finish. Originally designed for a silent alarm clock project, it also features a vibrate mode - and as a deep sleeper, I can confirm it's more comfortable than you might think. Nonetheless, you're likely using it to train your dog, and I assure you, it is comfortable. Remember to use only what's necessary; suggest the sound for recall, vibrate for warning, and reserve shock for when absolutely essential. When setting the level, hold the device in the palm of your hand - level 99 packs a significant punch. For most dogs, levels 0-25 will suffice to grab their attention. The waterproofing is effective, and I can confirm that even when submerged completely, the shock feature still functions as intended.
