Needed a doorbell replacement, so I opted for a multi-functional design. Three buttons cover Family, Kids, and Postal Delivery, allowing users to customize their usage as needed. Each button rings a distinct doorbell, making it perfect for keeping track of visitors without interrupting projects. For example, when kids come over, the homeowner can receive notifications without leaving their current task. The buttons, sourced from Ebay, are waterproof and made of stainless steel, priced around $4 each. An optional LED plate provides a night light behind the names, as well as highlighting the pressed button. To secure the unit to the wall, simply remove the middle nameplate and screw it in place. An updated LED plate is included, featuring light baffles for improved performance.
