3 Axis SC Gimbal
grabcad
Ridwan S designed a "3 Axis SC Gimbal" model using SolidWorks 2014 and KeyShot 5. It has 254,229 vertices and 508,310 polygons, available in various file formats such as .SLDPRT, .SLDASM, .IGS, .OBJ, and .STL. This gimbal was created for the "Make the Unmakeable" challenge on GrabCAD to emphasize the advantages of 3D printing in manufacturing drone accessories. Ridwan believes that with 3D Printing, the process is easier, faster, and less complicated. The gimbal includes motor space that can be easily closed with a separate 3D printed cap. The main material used for 3D printing is ABS plastic. Ridwan has also created other entries for the challenge, including a Drone 3D Scanner, ES Drone Wing, and GL-HOOK. You can download the model for free but are encouraged to show appreciation with a "♥" button.
