3-Axis Brushless Gimbal Camera Offset Plate

This is an adjustment plate designed for easily calibrating multiple cameras on a gimbal system. My own camera gimbal has a problematic plate mounted to a horizontal rod rather than a traditional cage setup, requiring awkward fine-tuning procedures for minor adjustments. This issue can be resolved by positioning the set up above that standard plate and securing it with two screws while still allowing precision millimetre sliding adjustments with the aid of additional securing elements. The necessary components for this build include: - 3 adjustable tripod mounts - 2 spacers - 4 M3 stopper kits featuring nuts and bolts approximately 6mm long to prevent excessive plate movement Further materials needed: - 2 additional screws with an approximate length of 10-12 mm, measuring M3 Step-by-step instructions: - Print out the base and slide plate. The logical starting point for this process. - Attach the base unit to the standard gimbal mount via 2 tripod mounts and washers (taking care not to exceed half a millimetre of clearance). The added spacers will help achieve some freedom of movement as well as avoiding collision with other components such as the M3 screws. - Add stopper set A to the base plate. - Screw in one adjustable mount from underneath the slide, securing it firmly. - Secure your preferred camera plate onto the slide for a more seamless installation process. - Next install side screw 2 by utilising the available M3 threading and then secure this adjustment plate to its newly established position with stopper set B. - The fine adjustments required will finally come together through a perfect marriage of mechanical design, user flexibility, and calculated stability once all elements have been installed accurately according to these instructions
