Theo used to be a fairly high-standing angel, he was well respected and trusted, and wielded a fair amount of power. This, however, made him the target of another angel that secretly wanted his place in the Upper plane, so he framed Theo for a terrible affront against their deity, and Theo was cast out, stripped of all his power. Powerless, Theo was hunted by fiends and devils alike, until he was captured and brought to hell.
