I replaced the 3/8-20 threaded rod on my Z-Axis with a new one and the included delrin nut only fits a 3/8-18 ACME rod, it doesn't work. Initially, I came up with a simple fix but then looked here for something better suited to my needs and ended up designing a quick sketch. Print two, insert a nut inside each, then install where the old delrin nut was. Here's how: Print two of these, preferably in PLA. Insert a nut into one end. Screw them together, placing this adapter over your existing z-carriage with a delrin nut. You will likely need to enlarge the holes for perfect fit. Use a small flame to heat and bend plastic for tighter installation.
