3/8" Drain Elbow for Ultrasonic Cleaner
thingiverse
A simple drain elbow for my stainless steel ultrasonic cleaner. Mine happens to be a VEVOR, but I'm assuming they all use the same size drain fitting. If not, the scad file is included so you can modify it. Since the threads are fairly fine, I used a .12 layer height for them, with adaptive layers to print some of the less complex parts faster. I suggest at least 3 perimeters to give it the best shot at being waterproof, but since it isn't going to be under much pressure it's not critical. If you have an ultrasonic and wonder why you even need this, so did I...until the first time I drained it. When the tank is full the water comes out pretty fast and shoots a fair distance from the drain. With the elbow, it goes pretty much straight down. Much easier to avoid shooting dirty water all over the place. This has my best approximation of 3/8" NPT threads so it will probably fit anything else using that thread size. I can only say for sure that it fits the threads in my ultrasonic though. I am not a plumbing expert. ;-)
