I'm sick of shelling out cash for hardware at Home Depot, so I turned to the local library to create ACME threads using OpenSCAD. This is one of the outcomes - if you'd rather grab some hardware and avoid messing with my Python thread library, that's perfectly fine. Very addictive fidget toy, I might add.
