3.5 inch LCD mounting plate for Anycubic i3 Mega
thingiverse
After fitting a raspberry pi with octoprint INSIDE the anycubic housing, the anycubic stock lcd had very limited functionality, so I ended up getting an elegoo 3.5inch touch screen with GPIO comms to the raspberry pi (HDMI screens don't fit inside the printer because of the bulky hdmi connectors). Screen and raspberry need to be in separate locations so i used a 35cm ribbon cable to bring all the signal and power to the screen. Back plate is designed to hold the screen from the edges and press it against the clear plastic fascia. Be careful not to overtighten screws. Use some locking compound (or nail lacquer) to fix screws. detailed step by step octoscreen + drivers instructions in attached file. 19/04/2021: Added picture and instructions for octodash.
