3.5" HDD Bookend (Vinyl Record Compatible)
thingiverse
I saw a couple of other similar designs for bookends (notably this [one by klinstifen](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1759251)) but they all lacked one thing or another and none of them were particularly suited for using as a bookend for a small vinyl record collection. The hard drives can be friction fit into their slots and stay in there well. I've added a soft foam to the back of mine to protect the records, and rubber feet to keep it from sliding around, while I don't think either are necessary, I would recommend them. I've included 3 different variants, one in a singular piece (one_part.stl) of those who have print beds large enough to print the whole bookend at once. The one in the picture is the two-piece variant (left_part.stl, right_part.stl), It can be slotted in together. Depending on your printer tolerances, you might need to scale either pieces to 99% or 101%, but printed perfectly fine on my printer. The last variant is a single HDD variant, in the case that you want to use this bookend for actual books.
