3/8 inch corner is hard to find in most stores, making prints faster than an outside-style coupler seems to work well with moderate infill speeds. I did not make major changes to jjpowelly's original design, I thought there was no need to ask them for modifications. My design is inspired by tonyyoungblood's couplers available, and since 3/8 inch size works fine for most uses I can skip scaling everything up from 1/2 inch to 5/16 inch. My wish list includes rounding off square corners with a smooth radius and creating arms with multiple sides but those changes are not crucial.
